    Lau Group? - you'd be unlikely to be able to get there and back in 2 - 3 weeks. In December I'd be sticking to the Yasawas.

    In Fiji Kadavu, Taveuni and the Lau group would suit. Not much hiking in Tongan islands-Tongans don't go for walking much.
