Experimental Travellers around the world are putting Yellow Arrows in urban places that
mean something to them. Be part of the experiment by sticking a Yellow Arrow in a meaningful spot - be it a forgotten alleyway, a car park or a phone box.

Experimental Traveller Anubis:
Walk into a quiet car park after hours in Melbourne's CBD and you might
just stumble across my yellow arrow, stuck on the underside of an air-vent.
My arrow's purpose was not to point out my own special parking spot, but
to mark the place where someone was murdered in the 1950's - her ghost
is often seen walking on the balcony above. I've yet to see her ghost
but I'm fascinated and more than slightly freaked out by the story.
To get started you'll need your own Yellow Arrows.
To find them, check out the back of The Lonely Planet Guide to Experimental
Travel or log on to
Yellow
Arrow. Each Yellow Arrow has a unique code that makes it distinguishable
from another. Once you've chosen your special spot and your arrow is in
place, SMS its code and your message to the numbers given on the arrow.
Take a photo of your arrow and post it to the
Yellow
Arrow website. Your picture will then appear with all the other Yellow
Arrows in the
Experimental
Travel Project Gallery.
