Formerly wearing the crown of best-value cheapie in Gonder, the small and simple rooms here are starting to decay. But with limited choices in this price range and a very traveller-aware staff it remains a good option.
Beyond a little wear and tear, the rooms, with satellite TV and some with good people-watching views, can’t be faulted and the inflated faranji prices are definitely open to negotiation. The food is pretty good too.
