Ethiopian Airlines (www.flyethiopian.com) connects Addis Ababa with Dire Dawa and Jijiga. Most people who enter eastern Ethiopia overland travel by bus or by train from Djibouti City and disembark in Dire Dawa. It’s also possible to travel from Hargeisa (Somaliland) to Jijiga by bus.
