Aia Apteek (627 3607; Aia tänav 10; 8.30am-midnight) One of many well-stocked pharmacies in town.

Tallinn Central Hospital (620 7015; Ravi tänav 18) Just south of Liivalaia, some 300m west of the Reval Hotel Olümpia, this hospital has a full range of services, a polyclinic and a 24-hour emergency room, and is used to foreigners dropping in.

Tallinna Linnaapteek (644 0244; Pärnu maantee 10) A good 24-hour pharmacy.
