Lonely Planet review for Roof Garden

The only Indian restaurant in Eritrea, this upmarket joint on the 5th floor of a modernish building is praised for its lip-smacking biriyani and tandoori dishes. Recommended if you feel the time has come to give your tastebuds something new to sing about.

    Not many places to choose from in Asmara, but the food

    safe1 recommends this,

    is excellent. For an Indian or Chinese 'hit', you can't go past it. Be prepared to wait though, as service is very slow.
    As with any restaurant in Asmara, the price of food is very high (especially chicken which is more expensive than lobster!), so be prepared to pay!

    Other that that, it's a great experience.
