Does anyone have an email address for this Malabo hotel? The address in Bradt is incorrect; I've phoned the hotel and the address they gave me doesn't work; their Facebook page is seriously out of date. I need a reservation confirmation for my visa application.
Can anybody confirm that is american that no visa is required for arriving into Malabo by flight? I will bring completed applications, passport sized photos and a yellow fever card. Has anyone had any issues recently at this airport?
Does anyone have any recent experience or information on the border crossing between Gabon and EG at Cocobeach/Kogo? I've heard that at times only Equatoguineans or Gabonese are permitted to cross there.
I have a US passport so no visa will be required and a multiple entry visa to Gabon. I may be crossing from EG to Gabon or vice versa depending on travel plans so if one way is easier than the other, do let me know. I suspect it might be easier to leave EG at that border than enter the…
Could someone tell me whether there is a chance of getting a visa for Equatorial Guinea but NOT from their embassy in Berlin? I'm from Poland and would like to travel there this summer but the price is a little high for me as I'm planning to visit neighbouring countries as well. Is there any chance to get the visa for EG from Cameroon or Gabon?
Any information about this topic and the current situation in Equatorial Guinea is important to me.
we have been looking for a postcard for our project of the unity of the world throught the philately : http://www.born2travel.it/postcards%20eng.html for so long but we have been told that there isn't a postal service in equatorial guinea

Here's a link to a PDF sample chapter of the new guide which comes out on 20 November 2015! It covers the north-eastern Kié-Ntem Province, including Ebebiyín, which was the site of some of the African Cup of Nations games recently.
Does anyone know of a decent source showing the road layouts of these four towns? I have GPS data on sites of interest, and am looking for a decent map to overlay this onto.
Google Earth satellite photos are either very out of date (Mongomo) or too low resolution to make out the streets. Other sources such as Openstreetmap.org are also lacking in detail.
Perhaps someone who went to the recent African Cup of Nations got maps of the host cities of Mongomo or Ebebiyin?
I am trying to book a flight for the route LBV - SSG. I am aware that Ceiba Intercontinental and Cronos fly this route but I can't seem to find any way of booking with these airlines on the internet and I can't find an agent here in the UK who can help. Does anybody know how I can book flights with either of theses airlines, I cannot speak French or Spanish so telephoning them in Gabon or Equatorial Guinea will prove difficult and expensive.
Just got back from spending a month in Equatorial Guinea doing research for the new Bradt Guide to Equatorial Guinea, which is coming out in November 2015. I visited:
Bioko - including Malabo, Riaba, Moka, Luba, Batete.
Mainland - including Bata, Rio Campo, Mbini, Acalayong, Cogo, Monte Alen, Niefang, Micomeseng, Ebebiyin, Nsong, Mongomo, Oyala (Djibloho), Nsork, Aconibe, Evinayong.
Thought I'd answer some of the frequently asked questions on the forum…
