Brasserie Blanc
Raymond Blanc manages to create a surprisingly intimate and romantic space amid the cast-iron pillars and red brick of an old Victorian warehouse, with a scatter of outdoor tables for sunny lunchtimes beside the river. The menu is unerringly French, from escargots (edible snails) to Toulouse sausage. The pre-7pm menu (6.30pm Saturday) offers three courses plus a glass of wine for £15.
