Getting there & away
The Peak District is extremely well served by public transport, and Matlock is a hub. Buses 213 and 214 go to and from Sheffield (one hour 10 minutes) several times a day. There are hourly buses to and from Derby (1ΒΌ hours) and Chesterfield (35 minutes). There is also a train station. Several trains a day serve Derby (30 minutes).
