Buxton is well served by public transport. The best place to get the bus is Market Sq, where services go to Derby (twice hourly, 1½ hours), Chesterfield (several daily, 1¼ hours) and Sheffield (65 minutes, every 30 minutes). Trains run hourly to and from Manchester (50 minutes).
