    This is a romp through Cirencester’s (Corinium to the Romans) extensive history up until the 19th century. The largest part of this modern, well-presented, partly interactive museum is, understandably, dedicated to its Roman past and covers everything from Roman forts and armies, daily life in an affluent household, health and beauty according to the Romans and funereal rites and religion – all brought to life through innovative displays and computer reconstructions.
