Planning on making the move from Australia to London. Just wanting to know affordable areas to rent in?
And jobs that are in demand at the moment?
Any other little things you can tell me/warn me/pubs,museums, photo galleries - must do's/must see's :)
Going to Brighton for a few days on my own, but I rather not want to spend my evening/nights at the hotelroom if I can avoid it. Anynone who knows how safe it is to go out on my own in Brighton?
And does anynone know about good pubs/nightclubs to go to?
I am starting a cycle tour of Wales and Devon on Sunday, ending up ultimately in London. My route in England starts approx. in Ilfracombe, North Coast of Devon, south to Plymouth and then East by Bournmouth and Southampton to Brighton, then North to London.
I have been looking for interesting small towns to stay in and adding them to a Google Map, there seems to be quite a few that are recommended in Devon but I am finding less for my journey along the South Coast to Brighton.
I have 5 days in October to tour Stonehenge, Cornwall, Cotswold....Devon area....I'm by myself and could do rail and wouldn't mind bicycling part of it....any ideas on how to carve out my 5 days?
Please offer any information that pertains to an American qualifying to work in England. Does Schengen apply? Would it be easier to qualify for certain fields, etc?
Hi everyone, and thanks in advance
We are travelling to England from Europe, arriving on December 20th and looking to work out an itinerary for ten days. We are bringing our three teenagers (18,17 & 15) for their first trip to England. Obviously London is top of the list, but we would love to spend 3-4 nights in country England, probably over Christmas. No hire cars, training it around Europe and England. We have thought of Bath, York, Cornwall ...Any suggestions/recommendations? Any 'must-see'…
I am going to the Isle of Man on 7 August for a week. Husband mainly wants to do the transport. Where is the best place to stay? And can we manage without hiring a car. Other comments please.
I want to watch the Nunes/Schevchenko fight. Does anybody know if a bar is showing it? Also, what time will it be showing in London? 'm staying in Shoreditch...but I'm willing to travel around.
Hey there, i have next week off from the 10th to 16th, and wanted to take a week trip away from the madness of London, as I don't know much about the outside(I'm from Germany) of the City (a few trips to Oxford, and Edinburgh), I'm told that in Devon there is some good chilled out beaches, and Surf Schools to get into, can someone recommend where to head on the coast, and a good surfing and nature spot.
Going to London for work Nov 6-8. I wanted to do some outdoor exploring: backpack, or inn-camp, or bike it, or town hop, or hitchhike? Im open to using a guided trip. Im going to have about 4-5 days to do it. Not sure what is some epic English nature stuff or English countryside....?
Im not into museums.
