    Sloop Inn

Old Speckled Hen, Doom Bar and Bass ales make this beam-ceilinged boozer a favourite with St Ives' old boys. Settle into a booth seat for the night, or bag a spot on one of the wharfside tables.

  3. C

    Isobar

St Ives's sole club, split into two levels; chrome-edge chill-out bar on the ground floor, hot-and-heavy dance floor upstairs. Funk, house, techno and cheesy disco played throughout the week.

    Hub

After-dark action is thin on the ground in St Ives; thankfully this funky open-plan café-bar fills the void, with DJs and live music by night, and lattes and hot chocolate by day.

  5. E

    Royal Cinema

Shows new films and often has cheap matinees.

  6. F

    Sloop Inn

A classic fishermen's boozer, complete with low ceilings, tankards behind the bar and a comprehensive selection of Cornish ales.

    Hub

As its name suggests, the open-plan Hub is the heart of St Ives' (admittedly limited) nightlife. Think frothy lattes by day, cocktails and boutique beers after-dark, plus sliding doors that open onto the harbour when the sun shines.

    Crow Rooms

The old Isobar has gone under and come up again as this grungy rehearsal space and gig venue – check the website for forthcoming events.
