   Bristol has some great Indian restaurants, but few are as beloved as this mini-chain of canteens, which now has four outlets, including this one in Clifton. It specialises in fresh, authentic thalis (multicourse Indian meals), as well as regional dishes ranging from Goan fish fries to Chompatti beach snacks. For dining on a budget, there's really nowhere better in Bristol.
