Facing Lynmouth Bay, with paths leading to harbour village of Lynmouth and the Valley of Rocks, Lynton Cottage Hotel is a Grade II listed Georgian hotel. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms.
The hotel is uniquely situated in 3 acres of beautifully wooded grounds, 500 feet above the sea level, and has stunning panoramic sea views over Lynmouth and the Bristol Channel. In the Heart of Exmoor National Park, Lynton Cottage Hotel is a haven for walkers.
Each room is individually decorated with a mahogany king or super king-size bed and features an en suite bathroom with free toiletries.
Guests can relax in the residents lounge or on the terrace, weather permitting. Breakfast and traditional English evening meals are served in the licensed dining room, which has views over the bay.
Set in 3 acres of gardens, in Exmoor National Park, the cottage is less than a 10-minute walk from the water-operated cliff railway which joins Lynmouth to Lynton. Guests can enjoy a multitude of wildlife, craft shops and cafes. Using this railway, the beach can be reached in 2 minutes.
Dining Room opening hours:
Every day between 19:00-19:30. Tables are only guaranteed if reserved in advance. The dining room may be closed on quiet evenings. At the time of booking select the Special Request box.
Please note that Sunday check-in time is from 15:00 until 19:00. Guests that wish to arrive after the 21:00 check-in time are asked to notify the Hotel prior to arrival to verify late check-in availability.
Cots are permitted in Superior rooms only, for a one off charge of GBP 15. Only a base sheet is provided.
The hotel is strictly non-smoking, both inside the hotel and on the terraces and balconies. Guests may smoke in the gardens.
