Look no further for lunch than this cute little organic café, locally famous for its bumper-sized sandwiches, homemade soups and trademark roasted veg. The free wi-fi's a bonus.

    Vegan eating out

    We visited this cafe this May and absolutely loved it. I'm vegan so finding a nice place to eat is not always easy for me, this one ticked all the boxes. The food was wonderful (and didn't cost a lot of honk :-), I had lentil salad with a generous pile of vegetables on the side and my husband ordered a chickpea pie which he still remembers fondly as one of the best dishes of his holiday in Cornwall... We decided to pig out and had a dessert which was delicious, treacle tart for me and apple crumble for my hubby, with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice-cream. People who run the place were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back on our next visit in Cornwall
