We are planning a trip to England in April 2016. We will be in London for the most part but I want to take a road trip to the west for a few days. This is the itinerary I’ve built:

Day 1
Drive from London to Bath.
Overnight in Bath.

Day 2
Drive through Wells, Glastonbury, Lynton, and Barnstaple, to Morwenstow.
Overnight in Morwenstow.

Day 3
Drive to Tintagel, then on to Port Isaac. Continue eastward through Okehampton and Exeter, ending in Salisbury.
Overnight in Salisbury.

Day 4
Visit…

Hi all!

Me and my husband will be in Europe for 7 days. I really want to go to UK, while my husband wants to do Netherland and Italy. Can you suggest an itinerary for this trip? Since my husband will have his bussiness in Nice, its preferably the last country we visit would be France. Thank you In Advance

Hi all,

I'm set to go to Porlock in Somerset for a couple of days in mid-July and I was wondering whether anyone experienced with the area had any suggestions for things to do. We will have a car so can drive a way either side. Thanks!

Shifting Sands is in London for the next two days. It consists of an Arab tent, a landrover and two young women who went on an extended trip around the Mediterranean countries and who have written an excellent book about their experiences. It is well worth visiting.

I can thoroughly recommend the Nightingale Centre, Great Hucklow, if you're looking for a place to stay in the Peak National Park. The Centre is a registered charity: www.thenightingalecentre.org.uk. It's close to several cities but in a quiet area and has a playground for children. The village of Gt. Hucklow is close to Eyam, which is known as 'the Plague Village' and to Tideswell, whose parish church is spectacular and known as The Cathedral of the Peak.

Guys,

I land at LHR T2 tomorrow at 7:15 and need to get to Jagz by Ascot station for 12:00. Obviously I have time to kill, so figured I'd get myself a slap up full breakfast.

I could of course simply use the Flying Chariot Whetherspoons upstairs in Terminal 2, but does anyone have an alternative suggestion at any point between these two locations please? :)

(I have a fair whack of luggage in tow, so don't really want to head into the centre because after a day out at Ascot I'm off to rural…

Will be visiting London for the first time, staying in zone 1, and would like to sample traditional Fish and Chips. Any recommendations? And, any other traditional food.
