Coming to London for a 7 day trip with my teenage daughter and two sisters in June. We're looking for a safe, inexpensive place to stay, that is centrally located (Zone 1?).
I'd love recommendations.
Currently planning a holiday in England in June/July. After a week in London we would like to spend a week in Yorkshire and the Lake District and a week in Somerset/Wiltshire/Dorset after which we will leave from Heathrow.
Our tentative plan to make travel easier is to take trains to cover the longer distances and hire a car for more local travel.
The train from London to say York looks straightforward, however the train back from the North to the South West looks more complicated.
I would love to…
Hello, I'm looking for a long term rental (furnished) in Dartmoor National Park between Widecombe in the Moor and Ashburton; would also consider Ashburton. Where to look for reasonable accommodation? Need 1, preferably 2 bedrooms and cooking facilities. Can be very simple place, no need for anything large or fancy. Many thanks for any ideas!
I am planning a working holiday in Europe during the middle of March. I am in London on the 4th March leaving on the 7th March. Which will be a nice place/area to book a stay as I am traveling with my wife and don't want too much of walking to/fro bus and train stops.

I'm determining whether I need a transit visa. I do not need a DATV as I have an…
I have my trip mainly sorted, just looking for some tips on where to stay to maximize accessibility to the sights I am wanting to see. I will be traveling on my own. I am particularly interested in history/culture, but also nature. I love photography and planning to spend a lot of time taking photos.
I arrive to LGW on May 16. I am traveling up to Alcester to visit family for a few days. On the 19th I take the train from Evesham to Bath. 1 day to sight see in Bath.
