Lonely Planet review for Budokan

Pan-Asian food is cooked up at this exciting fusion restaurant, where diners sit at communal tables and indulge in handmade sushi, ho-fun noodles and Malaysian curries. Particularly good is the 'Rapid Refuel' menu available pre-19:00: sushi, side-dish and main, all for a paltry sum.

Authentic Pan-Asian Food in the Heart of Bristol

    ezy recommends this,

Soft orange light, the sound of fresh food sizzling and aromas of sesame oil, soy sauce and coconut fill the air at Budokan. The food is delicious and a varied mixture of Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Singaporean and Japanese. You can even watch it all being cooked through the open kitchen. Budokan also make mouth-watering handmade sushi and interesting drinks such as ginger and lemon grass spritzer as well as jugs of warm sake. The Rapid Refuel option before 7pm is great value for money as you get sushi or soup as well as a side dish like Thai fish cakes and a main noodle, rice or curry dish all for £7.50. The restaurant has great vegetarian options and kids meals and is a good place to go with friends, family or for a romantic meal.
