Your entertaining costumed guide begins the tour in the 11th-century Crypt of St George’s Chapel, possibly the first formal teaching venue in Oxford, and continues into the Victorian prison cells and the 18th-century Debtors’ Tower, where you learn about the inmates’ grisly lives, daring escapes and cruel punishments.
