The handsome Heywood Building (1799) was once the city's oldest bank. Now it's a classy restaurant with a vaguely Manhattanite feel: if it weren't for the occasional groups of football fans you could imagine yourself surrounded by Wall Streeters tucking into a menu of steaks, burgers and salads. The menu has expanded recently to include North African dishes as well as a handful of Mediterranean options. It's owned by the same crowd that runs the Alma de Cuba
