Sherlock Holmes Museum information
Fans of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic detective novels will enjoy examining the three floors of reconstructed Victoriana, complete with deerstalkers, burning candles and flickering grates, but may baulk at the dodgy waxworks of Professor Moriarty and ‘the Man with the Twisted Lip’ at the top. When the bank moved out in 2005, the Royal Mail recognised the museum's exclusive right to receive post addressed to 'Sherlock Holmes'.
