Lonely Planet review for Mildred’s
Central London’s most inventive veggie restaurant, Mildred’s heaves at lunchtime so don’t be shy about sharing a table in the sky-lit dining room. Expect the likes of roasted fennel and chickpea terrine and puy lentil casserole as well as more standard (and hugely portioned) salads and stir-fries. Drinks include juices, coffee, beer and organic wine.

Best veggy place in Europe!
tessavk recommends this,
The place is not too big, giving a sort of community feeling with tables close too each other. But the visitors all share the same respect for the great staff, menu and surroundings. The food was really perfect, also for my omnifore friend. It is definitely worth a visit when you are in London!

Funky Spunky Potatoes
scottishsponger recommends this,
Damn I wish they had a restaurant like this down under! There's not many vego places like this around, it's one of the rootsiest vego restaurants and is just about worth moving to London for! It's a funky little place in a funky little street in a funky part of town and does proper size portions of great British-style vego food. It's nothing fancy, however, it's got substance instead and eating under that awesome skylight in the back of the restaurant makes for a relaxing dinner, even amid all the noise and chatter from the constantly full room. It does hearty, filling quality grub with a twist at a good price for London. We travelled all the way into London from Heathrow between connecting flights to have dinner at this place. We subsequently missed our flight, the last one that night to Edinburgh. But it was worth it!
