Michelin rated Indian restaurant in Kennington

    aaaaaanika recommends this,

At last we have a Michelin rated restaurant in Kennington, fabulous food and service!!!

Came here for my uncle's 70th+ birthday dinner & this is, hands down, the best Indian food I have EVER had.
The food was impeccable!! All of the meat were cooked to perfection - so tender! The curries were delicious & perfectly spiced

First time i came to this restaurant was with my father in 1990 and have been going there ever since. last Sunday i took my 3 year old son for his first indian restaurant experience after finishing a whole peshwari nan and asking for more i am pretty sure he is too going to be a regular

Seen this restaurant grow, so pleased to hear it is now in the Michelin guide. Brilliant to have such high calibre restraunt south of the river.

No one seemed to know what Indian tea (masala chai) is?

    pascale007 recommends this,

    Food and wine were delicious.

But when we ordered Indian tea (which was on the menu!) we were first asked regular or with mint???
So we explained we wanted the spicy chai. We then received some type of lemon lipton tea with a vague smell of cardamon.
No other spices or even milk in it!

I still recommend this restaurant because the food was so delicious.
