Lonely Planet review

The two dapper, thoroughly modern and comfy bedrooms in this charmingly ship-shape Victorian house are a dream, from the Phillipe Starck shower rooms, walnut furniture, new double-glazed sash windows and underfloor heating to the small, thoughtful details (fumble-free coat hangers, drawers packed with sewing kits and maps). The cordial, music-loving owners – bursting with tips and handy London knowledge – concoct an inclusive, homely atmosphere. Usually there is a four-night minimum stay.

Our independent authors have visited Barclay House and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Notting Hill & West London.
