While some pubs that festoon their ceilings with bric-a-brac and hang London Underground station signs on the walls can be tiresome, the Prince of Wales remains a very pleasant Clapham hang-out, and its decor, unlike that of most pubs of the genre, is genuinely collected rather than supplied wholesale.
