This enormous old boozer on this still-to-be-yuppified street just a short walk north of Hoxton Sq is a rough and ready addition to the ever-changing Hoxton scene. Run by musicians and providing a great platform for up-and-coming talent on its downstairs stage, Macbeth is a fantastic venue, with a second bar upstairs and a large roof terrace as well.
