Hello, Yonks ago I had a cheese omelet and chips for breakfast in a cafe near St. Paul's; I'd like to repeat the meal in the Kensington Gardens area. I'm an early riser so serving at 0730 or so. Any suggestions? Thanx.
I went to the UK on a working holiday visa in 08/09. I kind of came home without paying my taxes over there. I am now wanting to go back and visit a friend who recently moved there. Will I be allowed back in the UK or will I get a fine or do you think enough time has passed and its forgotten. I really want to go back and see my friend.
Looking for some travel suggestions for 2 millennial girls travelling to London in October. We have about 20 days and have heard great things about Amsterdam and Marbella, Spain. Any travel itineraries suggestions? We're all ears!
Hi, does anyone know the approximate cost of taxi fare from Gatwick airport to somewhere around the Gloucester tube station in Kensington, London? I am trying to find alternatives on how to get from the airport to my hotel around Gloucester easily at a reasonable cost. Thanks
Will be in Kensington for 4 days (next week). Love to eat out and love spicy Indian food. (would like to find something cheep not too expensive menu).
Please let me know any hidden gems in that area.
I am going to be in the Carlisle/Keswick area in July and early August. I come annually, and am looking to meet some fellow travellers or locals who also enjoy the outdoors and hiking in that area. I am a married teacher from Canada in my 50's. Any information about different hiking routes and trails would also be appreciated. Thanks,
I'm wondering if I could take 7-day London Travelcard (issued by National Rail offices) instead of 7-day Oyster to obtain 2-4-1 offers for attractions. As I'll be staying in Zone 4 and doing a lot of traveling during a week of a city break, the only thing I'm confused with is the difference between those 2 cards. It is said they both cover the same and by that I mean all means of transport- for the identical money value for a 7 day duration, right?
Thank you guys in advance.
Does anyone know of a drop off laundry service in Yorkshire or North Umberland? To be clear, I am looking to drop off a bag of laundry, have them wash and fold it, and then pick it up that evening or the next morning.
I've bought rail tickets ahead of time using the trainline app. The tickets are on my phone incl the bar code, etc. but the app also says "ready for activation" on the travel date. What does that mean? How and where do I do that?
In a couple of weeks time I'll be near Dartmoor Nat Park for a wedding (South Devon area). Would like to visit Dartmoor Nat Park but we only have a couple of hours. Got a car and we can probably squeeze in three hours on a sundaymorning.
Would love to hear suggestions on what to see/do.
Thanks in advance!
