Lonely Planet review

Built in the early 14th century, St Botolph's Church (the name Boston is a corruption of 'St Botolph's Stone') is known locally as the Stump in reference to the truncated appearance of its 88m-high tower. Puff your way up the 365 steps on a clear day and you'll see to Lincoln, 32 miles away.
