Getting there & around

Buses 220 and 242 leave Santa Ana for Lago de Coatepeque every half hour; the bus descends the long scenic road from El Congo to the lakeshore, then bears left past Centro Obreros Constitución, Amaquilco Guest House and Hotel Torremolinos, in that order. Buses return to Santa Ana every half hour until 6pm. To San Salvador, take bus 220 to El Congo and transfer to bus 201.
