Bedouin arrive en masse for Al-Arish's weekly market, selling silver, beadwork and embroidered dresses. Squeezing between the bleating goats, chicken cages and huge mounds of onions, while trying to manoeuvre through the crowds, is an experience itself. It's held at the southern edge of Al-Arish near the main market (signposted in English as Souq al-Hamis).
