Lonely Planet review
The newest hotel in town, on the east bank near the new museum and across the water from Al-Safa. Most rooms have Nile views, but the standard of service, food and cleanliness are disappointing. The recently added floors are unlikely to add to the pleasure of staying here. The large riverside terrace is popular for tea and shisha.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel al-Nil and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Sohag.
