Popular fish restaurant, just along from the train station, serving very fresh fish from Lake Nasser and the Red Sea, charged by weight, grilled, baked or fried to your choice and served with salad and rice or French fries. It’s a small place, but worth the wait if it’s full.

AKA Chief Khalil...the best restaurant we found in Aswan. Now serving set plates of seafoods and fish all accompanied by fabulous fresh flat breads, rice, salads and tahini. You can pick your own from the refigerated display of wonderfully fresh seafoods- giant sea-bass, shrimps, snapper, squid,and crab. The fish soups looked amazing, but for a real treat go for the mixed grilled seafood plate--superb. Great service too, a little hurried on the evening we went, as the place was packed, and peoiple waiting! but relaxed and calmer at lunch- when the food is just as good, and there was a little more choice available. Highly recommended!--------I can still taste that fantastic perch!

very good food and very clean place that is not at all typical for egyptian budget restaurant.we ate there 3 times during our staying inaswan and all the 8 of us enjoyed it.it is really worth waiting alittle for a table there
