Popular with meat-eating local families, Al-Masry is famous for its excellent fresh kebabs and kofta, as well as pigeon and chicken, all served with bread, salad and tahini.

    This place rocks!

    Located a couple blocks off the main drag, its a little intimidating getting to, but well worth it.

    English menus and other westerners can be seen in this local's favorite.

    Food was A+ and plentiful - I left stuffed, TWICE!

    If you have a sense of adventure and looking for something off the tourist track...you won't regret it.
