The once-popular hang-out no longer serves alcohol, but it remains a pleasant place for dinner. The menu ranges from basic Egyptian and international dishes, including mezze, pizzas, kebabs and our favourite daoud basha (meatballs in tomato sauce), served piping hot in an earthenware dish.
