Carol’s Beau Rivage
Lonely Planet review
Set around a delightful bay with glowing aquamarine water, 15km west of Marsa Matruh on Sallum highway, this recently opened resort has comfortable rooms in a weird safari theme, with elephant paintings, dark-wood furnishings and cane chairs on the balconies. The overall feel is a bit institutional, but the beach is certainly one of the nicest in the area.
Our independent authors have visited Carol’s Beau Rivage and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Marsa Matruh.
