    Kids carnival on the top floor

    We took the kids here to give them a bit of fun after weeks of monuments, souqs and other "deep cultural experiences". They ate it up. And I must say it was a fantastic cultural experience for all of us.

    The kids met local kids, we met local parents and we all had a ball. Plenty of good people watching as Cairo's young fashionistas parade around this vast mall.

    We also had great ice cream, good cafe latte and a taste of modern Cairo.
