Lonely Planet review
A new Downtown hostel with very enthusiastic management (the capital letters in the name should be your first clue), Wake UP! is just 200m from the Egyptian Museum. Dorm rooms are a steal if you’re not fussy about privacy, though slightly pricier rooms are still cheap and fairly cheerful. The staff are a treat, and while they are quick to sell you a tour, they’re just as quick to provide solid and helpful advice free of charge.
Our independent authors have visited Wake UP! Cairo Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Cairo.
