Explore the Galapagos and its native wildlife on a sailing trip around the central islands of the archipelago. Meet the green turtles that inhabit Isla Santa Cruz, watch blue-footed boobies dance the booby two-step and marvel in awe at the unfamiliar beauty that characterises these far-flung islands. Encounter the very same creatures that sparked Darwin’s imagination when he formulated his theories of evolution. There’s no spot on earth that is closer to the origins of the planet, where every step feels as though it’s through uncharted territory. Prepare to depart on the adventure of a lifetime and become a Galapagos Explorer.


Day 1 Quito
Quito's impressive Old Town is full of picturesque streets and historic buildings - there are more than 30 churches to explore, as well as fascinating museums and lively plazas.
Day 2 Baltra - Charles Darwin Research Station
The Highlands of Santa Cruz are home to the unique Scalesia cloud forest where you will find different species of Darwin finches and possibly the world famous woodpecker.
Day 3 North Seymour & Mosquera
The walking trail along Isla North Seymour's rocky coast passes colonies of blue-footed boobies and magnificent frigate birds, who share the same nesting grounds on the island. The small sandy island of Mosquera is a picturesque spot to relax on the beach and watch Sally Lightfoot crabs looking for food among the rocks and tide pools.
Day 4 Tortuga Nergra & Cerro Dragon
Visit the mangroves of Black Turtle Cove and paddle among its peaceful waters. See green turtle, rays and Galapagos sharks a myriad birds and perhaps even mating turtles. Spend the afternoon at Cerro Dragón, one of the best places to see land iguanas.
Day 5 Sombrero Chino & Rabida
One of the archipelago's most striking islands, Isla Rabida has fascinating indigenous wildlife, unique red-sand beaches and a saltwater lagoon where flamingos can often be seen.
Day 6 Bachas Beach - Baltra
Located on the north shore of Isla Santa Cruz, the beautiful beaches of Las Bachas have particularly soft sand and the nearby rocks provide great snorkelling.
Day 7 Quito
Enjoy a final breakfast in Quito before this exciting Galapagos Explorer adventure ends.
