Day 2 Baltra/Santa Cruz Highlands
The archipelago's main airport is on Isla Baltra - the gateway to the Galapagos. The Highlands of Santa Cruz are home to the unique Scalesia cloud forest where you will find different species of Darwin finches and possibly the world famous woodpecker.
Day 3 North Seymour/Mosquera
The walking trail along Isla North Seymour's rocky coast passes colonies of blue-footed boobies and magnificent frigate birds, who share the same nesting grounds on the island. The small sandy island of Mosquera is a picturesque spot to relax on the beach and watch Sally Lightfoot crabs looking for food among the rocks and tide pools.
Day 4 Tortuga Nergra/Cerro Dragon
The peaceful waters of Black Turtle Cove - a mangrove wetland on the north coast of Isla Santa Cruz - are a wonderful place to see green turtles, Galapagos sharks and abundant birdlife.
Day 5 Sombrero Chino/Rabida
One of the archipelago's most striking islands, Isla Rabida has fascinating indigenous wildlife, unique red-sand beaches and a saltwater lagoon where flamingos can often be seen.
Day 6 Isla Santa Cruz
Located on the north shore of Isla Santa Cruz, the beautiful beaches of Las Bachas have particularly soft sand and the nearby rocks provide great snorkelling. Located in north-eastern Santa Cruz, Punta Carrion is a shallow and protected cove with plentiful marine life, ideal for snorkelling and swimming.
Day 7 Isla Isabela
The largest island in the archipelago, Isla Isabela was formed by five giant volcanic craters, all of which are still considered active.
