Also, remember the 'Exit' Tax. The Exit Tax from Guayaquil is about 1/2 of what is charged to Exit from Quito.

It only takes about 1 hour from Quito to Guayaquil and vice versa so the same time from Quito to Cuenca. Not sure about from Guayaquil…
