There are several banks and a few casas de cambio (currency-exchange bureaus) in the new town along Avenida Amazonas between Avenida Patria and Orellana, and there are dozens of banks throughout town. Banks listed here have ATMs and change traveler’s checks.

If you need to change money on a Sunday, head to the Producambios at the airport; the casa de cambio in the international arrival area is open for all flight arrivals.
