Lonely Planet review for Rocódromo
Climbers can get a serious fix at the Rocódromo, a 25m-high climbing facility across from the Estadio Rumiñahui. There are more than a dozen routes (some as hard as class 5.12, or 7C on the French scale) on the three main walls, a four-face bouldering structure and a rock building. Shoes, ropes, harnesses, chalk bags and carabiners are all available for rental. If you rent equipment, the staff will belay you.

Poor equipment and generally seemed somewhat unsafe.
butforthesky does not recommend this,
They had all of 2 pairs of shoes for rent, which were tiny. If you're a gringo, you must use climbing shoes. If you're Ecuadorian, you can climb in whatever shoes you want. The ropes were in poor condition. The climbs were not set up so if you're a beginner like me and have never led, this isn't the place for you. The ropes looked shoddy. There are no safety pads under the wall, so if you fall it's on cement. They did have a decent bouldering wall, but the angle makes it difficult for beginners as well.
