This is a large artisans' market in a building taking up an entire block downtown. It has a huge variety of crafts from all over Ecuador including Otavalo-style sweaters, Panama hats, nicely carved chess boards, mass-produced paintings and just about every knick-knack imaginable. Bargaining is expected.
