There's an animal market that begins in the predawn hours. While you might have little use for screaming piglets, it's an interesting place to visit. The animal market is over a kilometer out of town; cross the bridge at the end of Colón and follow the crowds to get there. It is located west of Panamericana in the Viejo Colegio Agrícola.
