Cotopaxi - small eruptions

This thread can be used to discuss the volcanic eruptions and their possible impact on travel in Ecuador

There have been several small (probably phreatic) eruptions at Cotopaxi this morning.

The ash column is currently about 5km high and some ash fall has been reported in the valleys and South Quito.

Hi, In the last stages of planning and was wondering if September was close enough to the rainy season that there might be a risk in going to Salar de Uyuni in late September as opposed to mid September - Is September still ok all month?

I think I know the answer to this, (and yes, I searched the forum first), but I figured I'd float it anyway. I've got 2 different camera battery chargers, my iPhone & iPad charge plugs, a USB-charged bluetooth wireless keyboard, 2 USB-charged spare batteries, a USB-charged bluetooth powered speaker, a USB-charged AA battery charger... that I plug all into a compact travel power strip that's U.S. 3-pronged.

I know Bolivia is 220, so I'm guessing all I need is a plug adapter. Or, do I need a…

My boyfriend and I (Canadian, 27 years old) are looking to go on a two week trip to one country in South America around Dec 10-24.
