For the benefit of everyone dropping by the Brazil branch for the first time, please read this FAQ first. And I hope there can be some sort of way to moderate the thread to keep it updated and clean. I'll go first, with some general thoughts from the South America FAQ. Many thank to Apollo for starting that thread and for a great idea…
I will visit Colombia in mid September for two weeks. I want to see as many as I can, the Colombian typical landscape and culture. I prefer trekking rather than relaxing on the beach. I’m solo, and don’t have enough time to be off the beaten track, but just following the major touristic loop is not my idea.
Here is my itinerary, it looks too tight for two weeks, and I have to omit at least one place. Which one I should miss? Please give me some advice.

Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated :-)
I am an avid traveler currently based in the USA looking to go to Peru specifically in Huaraz this coming long weekend to do a couple of hikes around. I just finished Mt Kilimanjaro last week and looking to do more hikes. I have heard good things about Huaraz and a couple of hikes around are just beautiful. My dates are September 1-5. I am in my late 20s, looking to travel budget/ local way and also looking to do more local things just the way locals do. I love exploring local way.
If anyone is…
After an amazing trip in Colombia and Ecuador we are selling our 4WD Ford Explorer converted in camper bed in Medellin or Bogota starting September 2016.
We bought it in March 2016 in Bogota, all papers are ok and the selling process takes only a couple of days to transfer the ownership to the buyer. No problem at borders neither as the papers will be under your name.
Below are the details and pictures of the car and its equipment.
