Entertainment in Central Highlands

  1. Skyway

Latacunga is pretty quiet, but if you want to see what the local youth get up to on a weekend night, pop into Skyway, where karaoke is free on Friday nights. Saturdays are all about the dance floors.

  4. Peña Ananitay

Near Espejo, this is the best place in town to catch live folklórica (Andean folk music). It can get packed, but that’s part of the fun.

  5. Peña Bar Mocambo

Always popular thanks to its sidewalk bar with a funny Last-Supper-inspired mural, party atmosphere and upstairs billiards room. Near Ambato.
