Built into a hillside over the Río Ambato, this 25-year-old downtown hotel has views of both the cathedral and the river. The rooms are spacious and well lit, and the whole place is quiet. High rollers can gamble at the casino and kiddos can splash around in the pool. The restaurant and café are just fine for everyone.
