As you climb the well-marked path up to the Jesus Statue on Cape Fatucama, look for a little path after the last of 14 grottos. It leads down to an often deserted beach, known as Jesus Backside beach, where there's decent snorkelling.

    not safe

    mohammadismail does not recommend this,

    While the beach is secluded and relaxing, the local gangs will target foreigners. Young men will smash your car window and grab anything of value. This is commonplace during the day. At night, muggings at knife-point are not infrequent.
